COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unblended lambic, max. 1 year old.

Please note the age of the sample you are reviewing when entering your rating. While many factors determine whether you have had "Jonge" or "Oude" Lambik, a general rule of thumb is to enter 1 year-old or older lambik under "Lindemans Oude Lambik" and anything less than 6 months-old under "Lindemans Jonge Lambik".

For those between 6 and 12 months of age, you should take in to consideration the character of the lambik. Samples presenting themselves as hazy/cloudy, with some head-formation and residual sugar should be entered as "Jonge Lambik", while those that are drier, higher in clarity and with little/no head formation should be entered as "Oude Lambik".

Keg @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 26-10-2016.
Stated as "Lindemans Lambik" in the keg, i gunderstand this should be a Jonge Lambik, since it is quite hazy with frothy white head.
Pours quiet hazy orange with frothy white head. Short head retention, little lacing. Tart, some barnyard nose. Medium body, high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is moderate tart, still some residual grain sweetness, dry aftertaste. Good.

Taste is also a solid mix with some barnyard notes with some oak and tart notes. Body is full with limited filtration. Easy to drink but nice level of complexity.
