Bottle. Cloudy cherry red colour. Short-living pinkish head. Aroma: nice wild yeast, wet autumn leaves, cherry, other fruit notes, some vinegar. Medium minus body. Medium sour taste. Yummy sour cherry. Very tart. Enormously refreshing and really tasty.

Beautiful in every way except the aroma has a specifically vomitous note. Pours a bright purplish ruby red with no head, sparkling soda like carbonation. The nose is bad but has tart cherry notes, like wood and heavy lactic and acetic notes. Light sweetness, tart cherries, sour but not balsamic esque. Wood is light, heavy tart and sour notes, body is lighter than I would like. Overall damn good.

375ml bottle from the Legacy LRS. Vintage 2016. Bottled on 2017-03-23. Pours a deep red with a very weak rose head. Aroma is cherries, barrel, typical for Krieks. Taste is very crispy and woody with lots of funk. Cherries are present, but the tartness is overwhelming here. I bet that Americans would love this beer, taking into account the extreme level of sourness. However, I would prefer this one not that tart and dry, but with more sweetness and cherries. Not sure how good was an idea regarding not adding the sugar into this. In my opinion, it would be better balanced with at least some residual sweetness coming from whatever sugar added or more sweet cherries.

Gerbeer (4048) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 24, 2017
375 ml bottle. Pours a dark garnet with little head. Aromas of wet wood, farmhouse and dark cherries. Flavors of tart dark cherries, dried red berries, light wheat and red grape tannins. Beauty

750ml embossed green corked and capped bottle. Bright red pour. Aroma of tart cherries, flavor is a touch boozy and dry but nice, aggressive sour cherries, hint of funk and barrel, good.

Bill Becker (1910) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - NOV 23, 2017
Bottled November 25th 2016.

A nice loud pop when I pulled the cork out, it pours a really dark red with a fairly large head of pink fizz.

Tart cherries with a touch of semi sweet, some Brett, acetic, generally a very nice smell overall.

Tastes just like it smells. Lovely cherry tartness, mild Brett, somewhat acetic thing going on. Minimal sweetness as there's no sugar added.

Light bodied with generous carbonation.

A very good Thanksgiving treat.
