laiti (8468) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 22, 2013
50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 24.02.2013
Aroma is somewhat malty with roasted notes and some berries. Looks and smells like a dunkel. Flavour is malty and slightly sweet with roasted notes and some berries. More like dunkel or a bock.

olio (10265) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 22, 2013
50 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours dark copper color with a small head. Aroma of dry malts, dried fruits, some ash, cellar notes and some grass. Flavor of dry malts, toasty even, dark fruits, yeast, ash and dry chocolate. Somewhat unique brew, more like a dunkel than a märzen.

Idiosynkrasie (7508) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2012
500ml bottle. Clear reddish dark amber colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Hoppy aroma with underlying, minimally toasty, malty notes, roasted dark bread, coffee-surrogate. Taste is grainy, toasty caramel malty, dry hoppy overtones; a bit thin, light-bodied, watery.

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2007
(swing top bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly beige foamy head. Aromatic, sweet malty, slightly roasted aroma with light notes of caramel, liquorice and a distinctive spicy herbal hoppy touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty base with roasted notes and caramel plus a herbal touch from behind. Medium-dry, slightly sweet malty and moderately bitter, herbal hoppy finish. Very quaffable and pretty well-balanced Festbier.

pivnizub (10612) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 27, 2007
Flip-top bottle:Amber coloured, quite stable off-white creamy head, distinctive mix of toasted, sweet malt and aromatic hops in the aroma; moderate bitter sweet flavour, very soft MF, light medium bodied; only slightly sweetish, mainly "wooden" hoppy lingering finish. A very fine sample from good old Franconia......
