(Draught at the brewpub, Berlin, 20 July 2010) Cloudy golden yellow with lasting white head. Malty nose with the classic weizen characteristics: citrus, banana, hints of clove and vanilla. Wheaty, malty, slightly sourish taste with citrus, banana and clove. Balanced sweetness. Rather light body. Well made, tasty and refreshing. Enjoyed on tap at Potsdamer Platz with weisswurst, sweet mustard, and a pretzel. Hazy yellow with a thick white head. Nicely acidic edge. Strong clove presence with very minimal fruitiness. Toasted bread very strong. Lightly sweet. Great quencher. Ungstrup (38238) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 5, 2010
Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of wheat as well as lighter notes of yeast and caramel. The flavor is sweet wheaty with lighter notes of yeast and caramel, leading to a dry, wheaty and phenolic finish. The mouthfeel is sparkling and the body is light. heavy (2890) - Split, CROATIA - MAR 25, 2010
06/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured very nice cloudy orange to brown body with big white head. Very nice yeasty estery aroma, banana and orange mostly. Flavor was even better, orange, biscuit, very nice fruity yeast and wheat characteristics can be found here! Full bodied, with typical bubblegum banana finish which lasted pretty much. Very tasty, full bodied and cloying weizen. Exactly my type! tomer (3691) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - MAR 24, 2010
Draught at the brewpub, small thick dense head and lots of carbonation, murky orange colour with some yellowish taints, bready wheaty aroma with some yeast and bubblegum, the bready wheaty aroma continues in the flavour profile with some banana, quite light with a bitter sour aftertaste. Fair.

Draught at Potsdamerplatz. Poured a superb apricot orange-yellow body with a creamy white head. The nose is dominated by bananas, but it is also gluey, dusty and lemony and overall very nice. My pre-taste opinion of this one was extremely high. Bready, slightly sourish but pleasant taste, bananas! Very tasty, sweetish. Light chewed up bubblegum later on. Refreshing too. Just great. 300ml draught at the brew pub, Sony Center, Potsdamer Platz. Regular edition, ohne schuss. Hazy, amber-orange body colour. Tiny, but lasting, white tophead. Smell of spiced citrus fruits on a wheaty backbone. Cloves, citrus and ripe banana in flavour followed by dry, bitter citric fruits to the ending. Fined bodied giving a balanced and fresh impression. Good interpretation of the style. Not too sweet. Served under the motto Trinkt mehr Weissbier (Berlin, 21.11.2009). Borup (15150) - Albertslund, DENMARK - OCT 22, 2009

Hazy unclear medium orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, fruity, banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft.
Served in a glass with some head and no lace. Color was a light apricot and very hazy. Aroma was traditional Bavarian Hefe Weisse, but with less of the banana and more citrus aromas. Flavor was the same way, but with more orange. Body was fabulous. It was more dense, almost approaching viscuous. Great finish. Pretty good beer actually.
