Draught at Lindenbräu am Potsdammerplatz, March 2009. Orange coloured cloudy wheat with a lasting fluffy white head. Lots of cloves in the aroma. Fairly spicy flavour. Sweetish. Slightly thin mouthfeel with a vaguely metallic and rather sharp aftertaste.

On tap. Cloudy and opaque orangey golden with a dense, off-white head. Distinct yeast aroma and some hints of banana. Medium body, overly carbonated, yeast and banana yet very dry. Also the finish is dry without any bitterness. Mediocre Hefe. 100109 JoeinDahlem (1503) - Berlin, GERMANY - OCT 27, 2008
Draft at brewpub pours golden-orange, lacy with white and sturdy head. Faint nose of orange and banana with grassy edge. Flavor has a grassy bitterness but lacks sweetness and with low esters in backdrop. Pretty and refreshing but lacks balance and spice. DSG (14685) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 8, 2008
(6/19/08) Draught at the brewpub in Berlin. Cloudy dark yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, some banana esters and clove notes. Sweetish fruity flavor with wheat and some spices and light acidity towards the finish. Medium-bodied. yespr (44810) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2008
From tap at brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a creamy white head. Malty and eserty banana and citric aroma. Acidic to citric wheat flavour initially, gives a away a dry set of fruity esters following this. Dry and bitter finish.

(Draught at the brewpub on 2008-02-07) Cloudy. Brown with some hints of red. Big lasting head. Banana in nose. Some hops in taste. Very light bodied. A disappointment to me. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 19, 2007

Comments: A most simple, wheat oriented, simple weizen.
On tap at the brewpub. Served with an orange, hazy body under a nice, dense, beige head leaving nice lacings. Banana and some yeast in the aroma, which could easily be more complex and pronounced, but I certainly didn’t expect much more from this tourist trap. The flavor is likewise, with banana and some yeast, and there’s also some wheat and cloves. A bit thin mouthfeel. It finished with banana and some hoppy bitterness. A quite anonymous hefe, but not foul. (070805)
