GABF '03. Golden color with floral hop nose. Thin pale head. Hoppy taste but nothing more. Could use a bit more malt.

Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is moderately hoppy (orange/apricot, grapefruit, resin), lightly malty (cookie), light note of alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Competent American-style IPA...reasonable malt backbone, and better balanced than your average AmerIPA (though still pretty citric), but still doesn't quite have what it takes to rock my world.

Sweet candyish malts and hops intertwine - the hops are kind of raw and earthy, bitter, yes, but vegetabley. I like this a lot. Body kind of thick, but clear. Thanks Ringo!

I was never that impressed with Linden's brewpub offerings (I live a just a few miles from the pub). They recently went of business, and this was their first (and last) bottled beer. Too bad, because this is pretty damn good!

GABF 2003: Clear orange color, hoppy pine aroma. Full bodied and thick. Ends bitter with a long hoppy aftertaste.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2015 Medium gold hue. Floral hop aroma. Good basic IPA aroma and flavor, not overdone. Sugar sweetness, with only mild bitterness, and a slight scotch like flavor.

Excellent sweet/hoppy aroma. Amber in color. Flavor is very good with a nice level of hoppiness mixed with a sweeter floral flavor. The beer feels good in the mouth - a good IPA.

PrinceofNessus (236) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 29, 2003
The beer is slightly hazy in appearance, with a lingering head, and a nice sweet/hoppy smell. The initial flavor is bittersweet, followed by a strongly hop-bitter middle, and a pleasant finish. a very strong palate, overall the taste is bittter and sweet, a good IPA

Good. Tending toward the sweet side but a solid effort. I'm warming to this brewery now after a few lackluster earlier samplings.
