On tap at kick. Pours a pure black opaque with slight grey head. Slight cherry nose but mostly malt, coffee and roasted wood. Tastes like a porter should, fair bitterness, sourness, bubbles and sweetness. Good

On tap @ Bergen Ølfestival. Pours black with a big creamy creamy mocha head. Aroma is roasted malts with coffee, oak barrels and leather, as well as notes of cocoa. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Flavour is sweet with burned malts and coffee, as well as cocoa, bread and leather. Lingering sweet burned malts in the finish.

Black color with a fine beige head. Nice rich aroma. Roasted, coffee, chocolate and some fruity notes. Not as thick as expected. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mellow and easy drinkable. Maybe to easy. Dominating roasted and coffe. Mild fruity n the back.
[On tap at Diskoteket in Trondheim, Norway]

On tap at Cafe Sara, january 14th 2014. Black body with a medium tanned head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla beans and dark fruit. Taste of dark chocolate, coffee, light note of cherries with a touch of sourness in the finish, together with a roasty bitter coffeetaste. Very nice!

Fra fat på Café Fiasco, Oslo 29 Jul 14. Svart. Lavt, tett filmskum med litt farge. Tett lacing. God lakris-/sjokoladearoma. Smaken forsterker aromaen og utvider med røstethet & kaffe. Forsiktig syrlighet i ettersmaken.

330 ml on tap @ Haandverkerstuene, Oslo.May 07, 2014. Black in color with a thin beige head and medium carbonation. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, fruity and some cherries. Tastes a bit sour and dry with a bitter finish. A nice brew, but i wish the aroma from cherries had given the beer a more cherry taste.

25.03.2014, tap @ Handverkerstuene:
Nice light brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is lots of diacetyl; black winegum crocodiles, butterscotch, caramel malts, chocolate, hay. Taste is slightly neutral, dark malts, hay, caramel, chocolate, cardboard, butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Meh!

Sigmund (8031) - Tau, NORWAY - MAR 24, 2014
On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, large tan head. Mild roasty and fruity aroma, notes of cherry chocolates and mild coffee. Smooth mouthfeel. Moderate roasty notes, mild coffee and dark chocolate, only a hint of cherries (I am not even sure I could identify it, if I never knew it should be there). Nice to drink though.
