75cl bottle. Pours a pale yellow colour. The nose is obviously honey. The taste is a bit more complex - honey, something earthy and maybe something pear-droppy. The palate is quite rich but since I’ve never had any other mead, I’m not sure what I’m measuring against. There is also good texture and it is fairly refreshing on the end. Overall, I enjoyed this but I don’t know how to compare it. Therefore, marks are mid-range to good

rbesg07, bottled. quite a pale yellow, sticky but in a pleasant way with some light woody and vanilla touches coming through the honey

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 25, 2007
Clear and very pale yellow coloured. A strong and syrupy example that manages to reach a minimal balance through a weird herbal quality. Tart and flowery and obviously very alcoholic, it never deploys the grace of top meads.

Bottled. RBESG. Very pale, see through hue. Sweet, boozy white wine aroma. ONe-dimensional, not as developed flavour profile as the meads I’ve tried. This is of course very young still. Very much white wine here. Bit of sourness that prevents it from being from sticky.

omhper (25157) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 31, 2007
Bottled at RBESG ’07. Very pale yellow. Boozy warming honey aroma. Sweet, powerful and liqueur-like. Potent. Stays away from becoming sticky.

(RBESG 2007, Glasgow. Bottle) Very pale, no head. Honry and wine aroma, some grapes and sourish notes. Sweet honey flavor, a bit too sugary.

A Mes rate: Bottle during the quick RBESG pre rate session. Perfumed wine aroma. Lemony and sweet aroma. With plenty of alcohol showing. A little too sweet for me.
