Bottle 700ml. clear glass @ [ T.S.H.R.B.G.S.C.S.M.T (The Second Handrup RateBeer Gathering Special Cider Sake Mead Tasting) - Ebeltoft ].

Clear light light yellow colour almost white (water colour) with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, apple, grape, phenol, alcohol - sprit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20120414]

A pale yellow mead with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol and vanilla. The flavor has strong notes of cream, citrus, and honey. It is very sweet - too sweet for me - it feels sticky in the mouth. Thanks to Jez (Rauchbier) for bringing this one over the Northsea.

Bottled at RBESG ’07. Very pale yellow. Boozy warming honey aroma. Sweet, powerful and liqueur-like. Potent. Stays away from becoming sticky.

Pale blond color. The aroma is a bit plastic. Sweet, without excess; some honey flavor. Drinkable, but simple.

Bottle from Lindisfarne Tourist shop bought for me by my mother as a gift. Golden liquid with sweet notes on the aroma. bit herby on flavour with sweetish finish. Can’t say I got a lot of honey from it, but this was my first proper mead and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Well chilled it was refreshing, crisp and made me feel extremely chipper
