Can. Pours a strong, dark gold with a substantial, pure white head. Nose of overripe fruit, corn, alcohol, and intensely sweet malts. Flavor is a bit over the top: Huge malty sweetness, almost syrupy, medicinal, some caramel ntoes. Pretty boozy. The seeming lack of hop bitterness to offset the intense sweetness is a bit problematic. Medium to full bodied. Finish is more syrupy sweetness, which lingers for too long. If you like malt liquors, you would probably like this. Apparently I don’t like malt liquor enough, because it was tough for me to get through this beer.

Bottle courtesy of Ken1. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, sour fruit, yeasty and a little alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish with notes of alcohol. 160813

Deep gold with a chill haze. Well, it smells like a champ. The aroma is full of sweet grains and some sour canned fruit stuff. Malt-accented palate with reasonable alcohol. Tastes a bit cidery, but also really sweet, and with some paint-like phenols. It’s going to lose points for a distinctly gluey finish. Not much good in this, time for me to move on.

Bottle from Total WIne in Roseville. Darker gold color with a 3-finger white head. Aromas of grain and spicey hop. Medium body with creamy carbonation. It’s certainly different. It shows heat. It is grainy. It suggests a malt liquor in effect, but a top end version. Interesting.

Tmoney99 (14866) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 3, 2006
Bottle. Poured clear golden color with a large white frothy head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate sweet grassy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration with no alcohol bite.

crossovert (13747) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 25, 2016
33cl bottle 8.8%abv. Fusel and grain aroma. Oxidized some fruit aroma. Flavor is boozy and oxidized, tastes like sherry, gross. Like a really bad HG malt.

bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2011
(330ml bottle, courtesy of thirdeye11) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of chemicals, soap, florals, and grass. Flavor of soap, caramel, subtle apple cider vinegar, earth, grass, and light chemicals.

"not nearly up to par with the stout, but i wasn’t expecting it to be. pleasant semi-sweet fruity aroma. taste is similar, with light grassy hops. full bodied, especially given the fizzy cloudy yellow look. fruit and a bit of alcohol in the finish."

jcwattsrugger (12518) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 23, 2008
12oz bottle-pours a frothy to rocky and retaining white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is sweet grain-caramel, grassy, some spicy hops. Taste is sweet grain-caramel, grassy, secondary spicy/herbal/earthy hops bitterness. Thanks jwc215 for sharing.

rosenbergh (11760) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 15, 2013
330 ml can. 8.8%. 115410559. BB Nov 2012. From Malaysia. Thanks Mark!
Cloudy golden colour with a tiny white head. The aroma is malt, buttery sweetness and mild citrus. The flavour is malty. And sweet. And it’s surprisingly smooth. Don’t wanna drink much more but it’s not as bad as I expected. Rather drinkable malt liquor.
