A vigorous aroma of chocolate, vanilla, cherry, coffee and roasted malt. Poured pitch black with a huge creamy, long lasting tan head. Left a lot of lacing. Flavor of Sweet Milk Chocolate, Sweet Cherry, light touch of vanilla, strong black coffee, bitter black chocolate, with a hint of smoke and roasted malt. Excellent flavor! Full body, a thick, creamy, yet chewy texture. A bit above average carbonation. A pleasant, short, sharp finish. A excellent stout! I served this in a pint at 45 degrees. This has it all in a stout. If you like them thick, sweet and yet bitter, black and rich this is the stout for you! I am very impressed with this stout and this definitely gets added to my favorite rotation. THe only problem I could see with this brew is that one is enough, but is that a problem? :)

[email protected] DØE Køge. Appearance: pours clear black with powerful beige soapy and lacing. aroma/taste notes: caramel, coffee, dark bread, light chocolate, nuts, light wood, light dark fruits/raisins, light spicy and some floral notes. palette: strong roasted malty aroma, average carbonation, medium to full body, medium sweetness, balanced by an average bitterness, medium to long duration and an oily texture. Overall: great foreign stout

Sehr schwarz. Geruch röstig und nach Rosinen und Pflaumen. Im Geschmack dann ebenso, leicht alkoholisch. Zum Ende bitter.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2017 Pours like a nice stout but can definitely taste the high alcohol content. Unfortunately the aroma is overpowered and flighty which makes this a easy to down heavy weight for me.

Can’t taste the alcohol for as high as it is. Syrupy. Very enjoyable thick stout.

jalleduc (35) - - NOV 5, 2017

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From Saveur Biere. In Teku glass. Watching Broken Mirror 3x04. With cured pork loin. Roasted, sweet with chocolate and some plums. A bit metallic and alcoholic but that add its some character instead of being a letdown

Fisler (785) - Bamberg, GERMANY - OCT 21, 2017
