5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
My sole mission in life is to bump Lionshead up to at least a "4".
very light beer - aroma of lightly toasty grain, light corn, very light grass - flavor is the same but also very light somewhat watery - yet nothing offensive or off-tasting - clean palate -- flavor-wise this isnt outstanding, but for a regional light AAL its on par -- a true thirst quencher -- it has it uses... alexsdad06 (11223) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - NOV 3, 2014
Bottle rating from backlog notes. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have grainy, corn malts, grass, pretty much macro mass produced taste, purely a tick. Pretty much the same as the regular version, but thinner, weaker. Meh. N3lson1 (1010) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - AUG 29, 2014
Drank from a twelve ounce bottle. I’ve enjoyed Lionshead Lager, this light beer is not very good. Has aromas of your generic light beer. Tastes like water with a hint of malts. hotstuff (5279) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 4, 2014
Rated on 4-03-2011 (Bottle) When poured, this beer has a small very, very fizzy white head that quickly dissipates, mostly transparent/slightly hazy yellow body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and no lacing. The aroma is grain and some corn. The taste is pale malt and grainy. The mouthfeel is lively carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is not tasty at all, lacks character and just does not inspire me to recommend or drink again. Patrickctenchi (6807) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Pours nearly clear, amber gold with a small, off-white head.
Barley and corn malt aroma.
Taste is your typical corn/grain light beer and water.

My Dad swears by this beer that claims to be a Pilsener, but is really just yet another identical brew of American adjunt lager. If you’ve tasted one, you’ve tasted them all. Blech. 60minuteman (1765) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2014 It?s a typical light lager. Grain and malt flavor and watered down too. It has a certain lemony tang to it that the original does not. NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Bottle. Pours crystal clear, light golden in color with a pure white head. The aroma and flavors are very clean slightly malty with a crisp finish. Good, cheap summer bbq beer. Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 26, 2012
Originally reviewed: 1/23/12. A friend of mine gave me a 6-pack of this the other day. Poured the final bottle into a pint glass for review. Pours a pale, translucent gold with fine lace on top. No head or lace left behind on the glass. Nose is of cheap grains and freshly-cut honeycrisp apples. The mouth is crisp and thin. Very light, not surprisingly. Very sweet beer. Light apple juice, mild corn, sweet finish. This drinks like flavored water, and it is refreshing. I’ll give it that. Decent enough to wash down some wings or something, but nothing I’d stock the fridge with on a regular basis.
My favorite part of this beer was the pictorial riddles under each cap. Nice little touch to an otherwise boring beer.

Cheap college beer. The flavor is about as close to water as you can get nut I assume if you are buying this you’re not expecting much
