Zlotta (2359) - Hagen, GERMANY - OCT 16, 2016
0.5 l bottle from ’Biermuda’ as ’Thombansen Klassik Lippstädter Pils’ at 4.6% abv, best before January 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Grassy-spicy, slightly grainy and moderately floral-fruity aroma of fresh grass, grains and some citrus. Sweetish, slightly grainy, moderately fruity-grassy and a bit floral taste of grains, straw and a touch of citrus, followed by a short, rather bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and quite dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

0,5 l long neck bottle with a modern clear new designed label. Bought at Brause Syndikat, BI. Golden in the glass, little bit unclear, more than one finger head, but shortly disappearing. Grassy nose with some hop. Taste starts with a lot of grain and malt, smooth. Bitterness is present but in the background, some citrus hints. Increasing bitterness in the middle section and dominating the aftertaste. Although it´s only a Pilsener, I really enjoyed it.

Many thanks for this bottle to Erzengel. Pours a agolden color. Aroma is sweet malty and slightly bready. Flavor is sweetish malt and hops.

Erzengel (8028) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 3, 2015
1000ml bottle from the brewery.

1 l bottle purchased at the brewery. The Pils pours out in a very light coudy golden colour with creamy low head and medium body. Aroma of grains and dust. Taste of cellar, grains, potatoe cellar, basement, straw, hops and bread. Light sour and quite bitter finsih. Taste more off a very and thin-bodied light Zwickel than a Pils....

Idiosynkrasie (6695) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 7, 2013
1000ml bottle [4.8% abv]. Minimally cloudy golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly floral hoppy aroma, grainy background. Taste is initially slightly floral hoppy with grainy background, in the finish flat bitter hoppy; very soft palate. Starts with a promising, unusual hop note, but finishes sadly in the standard flat way.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Poured up on tap at Thombansen’s pub with crystal clear gold body and white head leaving behind thin yet clumpy lacing. The aroma is light with a bit of toasted bread and grainy malts. The taste is much more assertive than the meek nose with some spicy hops that grow in bitterness as the grainy malts and lightly toasted bread notes come to the surface.

Herb-spritziger Antrunk. Test vom 11.9.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche
