Fatehunter (2622) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Off the tap, half finger of head with a clear, dark straw body. Smell is solid citrus and pine. Taste has a nice balance to it with good bitterness and malt backbone. The hops are there but not overwhelming. Smooth texture for an IPA. Fairly low carbonation and medium body. A solid IPA and easy to drink.

Growler poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of bread, floral notes, orange zest and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit, light pine and light floral notes with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Light, clear, and crisp. Subtle aromas but with a nice, sharp citrus bitterness. Tried with the parents at Lb in Dec, 2013.

Tap @ Liquid Bread. Pours a bit hazy dark golden appearance with a creamy off white head. Spicy herbal, somewhat floral, earthy hoppy aroma. Moderately bitter, potpourri floral, a bit grainy, fairly dry flavor. Carbonation seemed a bit low. Decent.

Tap at LB in Hays, KS. Clear straw, okay white lacing. Nose is pineapple, mild salt and vinegar. Taste is nutty, sharper overboiled hops. Good mouthfeel; spicy. Just a tad too rustic grain with bitter root.

3.4
