12oz bottle with a Resurgam coffee sticker on the top, pours an opaque dark amber with basically no head. First hit on the nose is very green bell pepper, opens up to a boozy caramel, Jameson, some pencil lead, some green notes, spruce too. Flavor has lots of malt and caramel and pine and spruce, green and pink peppercorns. There's coffee there, but its more of a balancing agent than a key component. Finishes full bodied, sticky, boozy. drsordr (2984) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - OCT 4, 2017
Draft to taster at Cappy's pour murky brown with minimal to no head. Not pretty to look at. Nose dark roast coffee, caramel, whiskey, toffee. Taste mix of boozy and coffee up front, followed by butterscotch, vanilla, and smooth sweet malt. Butterscotch aftertaste. Sledutah (8127) - Utah, USA - JUN 25, 2017

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a hazy copper with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong booze, wood, dark fruit, roast. Medium body, vanilla, roast, bourbon, wood, nice sweetness, very good. phaleslu (11073) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 27, 2017
12 oz. bottle from the brewery. Pours a cloudy brown-amber color with a finger of beige head that settles into a thick ring and island of film. Big coffee and chocolate character, with brown sugar, vanilla, toast, dried dark fruits, bourbon, oak, and toffee. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, toasty mouthfeel. This is good. Really unique. Ibrew2or3 (9050) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - FEB 9, 2017
12oz bottle pours with a murky deep copper body that has amber hues and supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up spicy woody note, brown sugar, slightly hot bourbon and whiskey and then more heat into the end of the draw. The taste delivers sweet toffee and brown sugar heading quickly into toffee softened whiskey and oak. It picks up earthy faintly roasty coffee heading to about midway. It ends with tasty residual sugars as the mild booze quickly recedes. Cool brew. arminjewell (9745) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JAN 9, 2017
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of big booze, bourbon, and oak into some vanilla, cocoa, some caramel, toffee, the coffee comes through a little as well. Taste was a mix of caramel, toffee, cocoa, roasted espresso beans into some dark fruit, booze, vanilla, coconut into a bit of oak, finishing slightly sweet, slightly boozy. Pretty tasty. Dark appearance and slight coffee aroma. The initial barleywine taste hits then is overpowered by coffee. Good but pretty one dimensional.
