3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
9/27/2013: Listermann Intergalactic IPA... Shiny copper-golden color; the hops are softer than what’s in the Beagle of the Corn and the bitterness seems lesser as well; that’s not to say that this beer is bad, but it’s definitely different and less aggressive overall. The hoppiness is pretty floral and also includes some passion fruit, grass, soft fruits, and just a tinge of resin. However, the aroma is really off-putting to me since it’s really kind of catty. That seems to dissipate a bit as the beer breates, but it’s kind of overdone and just isn’t my thing. Honestly, I need to give this beer another try though based on the other ratings and comments. I must just be missing something, but I know my palatte and preferences have definitely changes a lot over the years and this is not the only beer that my opinion has differed great only and interestingly enough, the other IPAs that I liked a lot less had a very similar hop profile... Draught at Listermann Brewing Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rating #6 for this beer.
On tap at Daily Growler in Upper Arlington: amber pour with off-white head. aroma of malt and light citrus. tastes are on malty side too with sweet caramel, pine. medium palate is little creamy. 6.8 odog (23) - Ohio, USA - AUG 17, 2014
Draft at tasting room. Wonderful grapefruit nose but taste is more pine and resin than the initial citrus. That’s too bad but this is still a solid competitive IPA - an above average offering. Every good brewery needs a good IPA and this one is good. 70 IBU but it seems more - which should appeal to hopheads. alexsdad06 (10430) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Draft at the tasting room. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have citrus, resiny and herbal hops, lightly toasted malts, grass, light caramel. This opens good, but gets soft at the finish with ,mild bitterness. LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 15, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange with a thick creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, grassy hops, garlicky hops. Flavor of lots of garlicky, spicy hops, earthy hops, crackery malt, a touch of citrus, with a spicy bitter finish. Really excellent IPAs

Tap sample - pours deep gold with white head and decent lacing. Pine nose. More cat urine and loads of pine with floral notes. Again, not that bitter for 70 IBUs. Goes down easy and refreshing.

Copper color and a fine almost nitro-ish white head. Aroma of cat pee, lavender and a bit of malt. Great flavor of galaxy hops. Well-balanced with a nice fruity finish JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - SEP 19, 2013
Sample at the Listermann tasting room on 9/13/13. Pours clear amber with a thick beige head. Nose consisting of orange, malt and pine. Malty and piney flavor with a bitter grapefruit rind finish. Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 10, 2013
Draft sample. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy and tropical fruit aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Standout beer that I recommended to freinds. b3shine (8874) - Indiana, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Draft to taster at Listermann. Looks good; a mostly transparent orange with off-white lacing. Smells solid; juicy and citrus hops. Tastes like it smells withanice, smooth mouthfeel. A good example of the style.
