Draft at Cincinnati’s First Craft Beer Only Oktoberfest on October 6, 2012. Medium copper/amber hue, nice firm sweet malty aroma, sweet toasted malt taste accompanied by a macro-like bitterness, Disappointing but I’m grading this leniently due to how cold the beer was served and how cold it was at this outdoor festival (not complaining about the event, just stating a fact). IMO, the better lager styles are best if they aren’t served too cold. I hope to try this again next fall inside at Listermann.
Draft: pours a nice orange color with a big off white head on it. Nice malty flavor with a nice bitterness to balance. Good beer, nothing too exciting, but definitely a solid Oktoberfest. rondphoto (4494) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - OCT 9, 2014
on tap @ Listermann / Cincinnati OH --- Clear medium amber, thin rim head, full curtain of lace. Taste is light caramel malt that is infused with mild bittering that moves to a long finish without change. This is a drinkable brew, but one that is dull and barely balanced. alexsdad06 (10803) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 22, 2014
Draft at Listermann Craft Beer Octoberfest. Pours a clear dark golden amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet caramel malts, mild toasted malts, some grainy malt, some grassy hops, mild bitterness, your basic Oktoberfest. drsordr (2861) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - OCT 24, 2013
Draft sample at Listerman Oktoberfest pours dark golden. Nose sweet malt, caramel. Taste lots sweet malt up front. Some apple. Faint spice on the finish. phaleslu (10652) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 21, 2013
Draft at Listermann’s Oktoberfest. Pours a clear, slightly orange hued gold color with a small, soft white head. A little light in color for the style. Notes of sweet malts, crackers, toasted sugar, a little bit of leafy and fruity hops, and dry, husky grains. Light-bodied, with soft carbonation and a bready mouthfeel that has some subtle underlying bitterness. Not bad; an easy drinking festival beer.

Draft. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate aroma of toasted malt. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations
