Sample at Listermann on 3/1/16. Clear amber pour with a thick tan head. Aroma of malt, sweetness and cinnamon. Sweet malt and cinnamon flavor with some fruitiness before a sweet finish. JStax (7395) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JAN 30, 2016
Draft sample at the source. The beer is a hazy copper with a white head of foam. The aroma has subtle spice character, some dry cinnamon, and a little bit of bubblegum. Fairly balanced beer. It does lean more toward ghe sweet side, though. Medium body and medium carbonation. arn8897 (458) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Aromas of cinnamon and hops. Flavor of mainly the hops. Not bad but nothing special. Light palate. dnstone (4018) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JAN 24, 2015

Draft: This is very good... but I much prefer the barrel aged versions to the normal. It’s big and sweet, which isn’t necessarily my thing at all. So take that into account with my rating of this. Drjohnrock (841) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 26, 2014
Sampler from bottle at 2014 Price Hill Beer Fest, tasted on February 16, 2014. Medium copper/amber color, strong bourbon/spicy aroma, smooth but assertive malt/spice/cinnamon taste. Delicious brew. phaleslu (10957) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Draft at Listermann. Pours a clear copper orange with a small off-white head that laces the glass. Aroma of cinnamon raisin bread, brown sugar, toasted and caramel malts. Flavor is the same. The cinnamon seems more subtle here than in the barrel aged version. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, dry, mildly spicy mouthfeel. Good winter beer. Taster, from draft. Clear copper color. Good creamy khaki head. That saigon cinnamon is clear in the nose. Smooth lighter carbonation. Dry texture, medium to bigger body. Long cinnamon spice aftertaste. More bitter taste. The focus on the cinnamon here gives this beer an enjoyable, not-messy unified direction. alexsdad06 (11392) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Draft at Listermann. Pours a copper color with a medium sized ecru colored head. The aroma was toasted bready malts, cinnamon, light caramel, clove, mild sweetness and a hint of alcohol. The flavor had dry toasted bread, caramel, cinnamon, and cloves. I tend to like my winter warmers to be a bit bigger than this, but it is not bad for what it is.
