A refreshing American style ale and oh so enjoyable on a hot Kansas summer day! Our most popular brew, we recommend this for those beginning to venture into the world of hand-crafted ales. Winter wheat malt is used to create a wonderful mild body with a hint of sweetness, and balanced with a dash of American hops. This beer is doubly refreshing when served with a lemon slice. ABV: 5.0% IBU’s: 13

On tap at the brewpub. Comes hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma of grain and citrus. Taste is malt, grain, and citrus. Very average.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2006 Bright gold body that is slightly hazy with a thin white head. The aroma is very light lemon with not much else to smell. The taste has lemon drops with some grass. Refreshing and good for the style.

Pours a hazy golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of lemon and Cheerios. Flavor is very grainy, some banana and lemon.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2009 4 oz taster at the brewpub. Diacetyl bomb pure and simple. Perhaps the worst example of Diacetyl I have ever experienced in a beer. Butter with some butter scotch chemicals, nothing else. Terrible, inexcusable to be serving this. I can understand if the Brewer isn’t around on the weekends to do QA, but the staff should be trained to identify this obvious flaw, and pull it from the tap.

Sampler at the brewpub. Clear, dull pale golden color. Light diacetyl with tartness. Flavor thankfully is missing the diacetyl and is mostly a tart and mineral watery beer.

Sampled at the 2009 Parkville microbrew festival. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. This is an ok beer but nothing special. It’s very easy to drink. A very flavorless beer for the masses.

Tap at Midwest Brewfest.
Pours average yellow with an aroma of garbage disposal refuse. Flavor is corn garbage. Watery mouthfeel. This beer sucks.

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JUL 28, 2006
Light and thin overall. Not much too this wheat, but some simple lemongrass aromas, light acidity, a light bit of herbal hoppiness, and some lightly toasted cereal maltiness.
