A gorgeous american amber ale, built around a light biscuit, caramel sweet centre – and which, in my experience - is highly sessionable.
A wonderful amber-coloured beer that promises a light-footed dance across your palate. Bright hop aroma leads the beer, followed by a light biscuit, caramel sweet centre. The beer makes a quick impression, then exits drily.

GuideDogSaint (1776) - Xiamen, CHINA - AUG 18, 2017
On tap at the Assembly Rooms, Epsom. Pours dark amber brown with an off white head. Aroma of malt with some hops. A little bit of a sharp taste to this. Bitter finish.

Tried at the Craft Rooms Lincoln. Hazy mid reddish brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma malty and light slightly sour fruit. Medium body.

Keg tap at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Reddish brown, barely translucent, minimal head. Slightly burnt malt aroma, salted plum, red grape juice. Vert sweet taste with coffee and balsamic vinegar tones lying over the malt. Medium to long finish with bramble in the aftertaste. Full carbonation.

Keg at JDWs in Surbiton. Rich red colour with lasting head. Good hop character, some resin and hints of smoke. A bit over fizzy but otherwise a good beer.

Clear amber with a well appointed beige cap that retains well - a real looker of a beer and a straight FIVE !
Nose is biscuit, toffee, light fruit esters, toasted grains.
Taste comprises biscuit malt, light fruit loaf, toasted grains, sprinkle of brown sugar, caramel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Fine for style.

330ml bottle from nelson wines. Pours a hazy amber with thin caramel coloured head. Aroma is of weak malts, a little grass and toffee. Quite heavily carbonated. Dry hops, crystal malts and a dry finish.
