Pint bottle (568ml) into pilsner glass. Pours clear bright gold with a large dense white head that dissipates slowly. Nose is dominated by fruity citrus hops (pineapples, oranges, peaches passionfruit). Flavour is honey sweet malts balanced by a decent hop bitterness and those tropical fruits. Nice clean palate with a lively mouthfeel and medium body. Like an attenuated (ie. less bitter) version of their Pale Ale but still very nice.

Appearance: Very light and clear gold colour. Small amount of white head (1 cm), quickly disappearing in around 10-15 seconds. I would have rated it higher if it wasn’t for the lack of head retention.
Aroma: The first thing that hit me was passionfruit. A bit of citrus, apple, and honey afterwards. Very vibrant and pleasing.
Taste: Quite different from what I was expecting from the aroma. A slight amount of honey and very mild citrus, but the main body of it was a sweet, crisp yeasty taste, with a slightly mineral-y aftertaste. A disappointment after the vibrant and ’bright’ bursts of aroma beforehand.
Mouthfeel: Light body and a bit sharp. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Very easy to drink, although after finishing the bottle, I felt like a second wouldn’t have been as pleasant. Definitely one for summer, or to help introduce macro-drinkers to other styles. Shark_Pants (743) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 13, 2013
Pint bottle poured into a pewter stein. Fairly small head that dissipates quickly. Aroma citrus, pot pourri, cane syrup. Citrus up front in the taste, then the lightly toasted malts and sweetness open up. Good session beer for a hot day.

After the LC version of a pils and my confusion as to what a "bright ale" was I had low expectations of this. Nice head and golden colour with little carbonation. Citrus and sherbert flavours over a peach base. Complex flavours but not unbalanced. Will go back for another. MattKerr (25) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 10, 2007

Bottle. A pale golden beer with a white head. The aroma is light caramel malt, and floral hops, so is the taste. Medium body with a floral finish. Good summer beer! Pyobon (1401) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 8, 2007
Bottle. Golden yellow with loose white head that disappears quickly. Very pleasant aroma - floral, tropical fruit (passion fruit) and hops. Palate is watery with moderate carbonation. The flavour is good but doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. It has the floral fruity foretaste with plenty of hops in the finish. A nice beer, but a little disappointing in flavour and palate. UPDATED: SEP 14, 2013 Golden, light floral, honeyish aroma. Earthy w mellow tartness and a hint of bitterness. Again, slight honeyish sweetness. Decent, quaffable brew. Tap @ Montes, Alice Springs. jonno (2761) - JAPAN - OCT 24, 2009
A toned down little creatures pale, but still quite floral and bitter. Aroma is of grass and flowers. Well balanced in the mouth. Good summer drinking, If you want a nice balanced beer that can be found at a lot of relatailers. M_Sack (720) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 28, 2013
Tap. Light gold, good head that slowly dissipates and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and a sweetish malt. Light, refreshing citrus flavours with a decent malt background. Good session beer on a warm afternoon.
