For the past decade we have poured much of our passion into brewing the best Pale Ale possible and we now feel the time is right to give you a little more
Sitting alongside our Pale Ale, the IPA will deliver the big, rugged hop flavours and the citrusy nose that you would expect. However youll also detect aniseed and savoury notes, balanced out with a long firm bitterness to finish.

Nice step up from the Little Creatures Pale Ale. Floral and caramel aroma, pour is a nice orange amber with a white head and nice lacing. Flavour is reasonably well balanced, lots of complex flavours, caramel, burnt toffee, orange, apricot finishing with a firm but not over the top bitterness. Would rate higher, but is a fraction sweet for my liking, but that is a very picky criticism. Overall a good beer.

On draught at Trappeze Pub, athens, Ga. Pours a hazy dark gold with lasting white head and lace. Intense floral hop aroma. Initial slight maltiness before bitterness jumps in. Medium body. Hops dominate the flavor profile but no citrus or astringency. Nce.

bottle, at the union in newtown, why didnt they think of this sooner? pale amber with an orange tinge and a lasting off-white head; similar aroma to the regular little creatures - some lychee and caramel; grapefruit tang, biiscuity malts, plenty of bitterness though i wouldnt have minded more

Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit zest, pine and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, pine, light grapefruit zest and light earthiness with a smooth dry lightly bitter finish.

On tap at Archive Beer Boutique September 2013. Honey amber in colour with a dominating citrus aroma. Feels thin in the mouth but has some good flavour.

Very pleasantly surprised with Little Creatures first foray into IPAs. Aroma citrus and medium hops. Appearance golden yellow amber. Taste a highlight - citrus with medium hops and a very pleasant lingering IPAish taste on the roof of the mouth (is that a technical beer tasting term haha?) Overall a very satisfying beer. Not the full-on IPA of the Pacific Northwest, but much more than the british / Scottish versions. Excellent beer.

Draught. Cant believe its taken so long to try this! Deep golden beer holds a firm white head. Good nose packed full of plenty of cooked citrus, woody spice, pine herbaceousness, with a complimentary background of toasty, light caramel malt. The palate is where it kicks up a gear from the pale ale; more body, a nice chewiness to the texture, longer on the finish. The maltiness is quite a joy; ESB-like with plenty of nutty biscuity caramel crystal malt to support a firm bitterness and notes of citrus rind & pine resin. Very nice, worthy of being the big brother of the legendary Pale Ale - not overdone, which is refreshing.

330ml bottle. Poured a clear bronzed amber with a dense and lasting lacy one-finger off-white head. Markedly different from a standard IPA with vanilla bean and chocolate characters in addition to the more archetypal pine, herbs and grapefruit standard. Medium body with solid malty palate weight and a brightly spritzy palate carbonation lifting the zesty, pithy and herbal hop bite with a slight gingery kick in the last. Protracted in the finish with a balanced bittersweetness. A decent IPA with pleasing intensity and interesting points of difference.

One of the best Australian IPAs available. Pours well and the hopping has been well thought out with flavour up-front as well as in the after-taste.

Quite a sweet nose, which translated through on the palate which was a bit sugary. Definitely drinkable, but think I would stick to the PA.
