GoufCustom (2119) - HONG KONG - AUG 13, 2017

330 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.

Clear amber red colour; Half finger head with soapy off-white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with notable small carbonation; Fragrant aroma of Amber malt, with tropical fruits, light grapefruits, cherries, strong red fruits, caramel, floral, sugar, light bread, light lemon and light grass; Close to light sweet taste of light Ale malt, with grains, very light caramel, light red fruits, floral, light molasses, wood, light biscuits, lemon, medium bitter hops and grass; Light body. Dry and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is fair Ale maltyness in a thin background. Light caramel, light red fruits and floral, low sweetness, woody notes with hoppy lemon to round. Too easy Hoppiness is tropical fruits, light grapefruits, floral, light lemon and light grass in nose. Floral, wood, lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is fair for a lasting mid astringent fair malty finish; Dry after taste. Grainy and quite bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one has good tropical and red fruit aroma, but for light 3.8% abv Ale from Little Creatures, the feather-light taste in malt and hops is more or less expected. Drinkable, but it could have been more, given the fairly impressive hoppy aroma.

Dark amber/brown colour with thin, quickly dissipating head. Sweet malt aroma and accompanying malt & bread taste. Low carbonation. Slight background bitterness. Lengthy malt finish. Really nice mid-strength session beer but fairly one dimensional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Cookie, Melbourne. Poured a clear reddish amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light red berry fruit. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a crisp light woody, fruity metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Quite a drinkable session beer that won’t win any awards.

Bottle 330 ml / Drinks of the World - Bern (CH). Garnet amber with an average beige and fleeting head. Soft aromas, red fruits, caramel, roasted. The taste is similar, caramel-toffee and roasted with notes of citrus and herbs for a slight bitterness, a full-body and a creamy texture. Easy to drink.

roflorence (111) - South Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 11, 2017
Clear, copper colour with a finger of head. Sweet, malty nose and a similar flavour. Low carbonation. Very little hop character and only a slight bitterness. A fair mid-strength but the malt flavour becomes a bit much after a few.

Pours a clear copper, low carbonation, with a light malty nose. Very clean sweet taste. Small malt hop balance. Almost sweet lager like in flavour. Long malt aftertaste lingers. Subtle but good mid strength beer.

Nice midstrength beer better than any other widely available midstrength beer in Australia. Good balance of malt and hop flavours.

Probada en botella de 330 ml. en el Aeropuerto de Ayers Rock. Buena amber ale, fácil de tomar pero con consistente sabor a malta caramelizada y cítricos. Bien. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
