Not bad. Tasted quite like Little Creatures full strength with a little less maltiness... Perfect beer for if you are softcore with alcohol but actually prefer beer over lemon ruskis... johninmelb (1127) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2002
It's got that nice, flowery Little Creatures hoppiness about it, but with less complexity. A nice, refreshing amber ale. I'd certainly have it again. Catadobe (112) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 21, 2002
Has quite a sweet nose and a mild hoppy aftertaste. For a 3.8% has a very smooth palate. Not a bad drop! CQC (224) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 19, 2002
Not bad, palettable. Quite a pleasant drop.................................. eczematic (1326) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - NOV 10, 2002
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2004 scored a case of this for free. being free usually makes beer taste better but this is a bit disappointing. fruity smells from both yeast and hops (cascade or something). the fruitiness mixes with the sweet crystal malt to create an overall impression of peach iced tea. limp, watery finish, without much bitterness. some nice sherbet/rosewater hints.

Ahh, there the hops are.. either the last bottle was a bit sad or my palate had packed it in out of disgust with the previous XXXX bitter. 10/25/02 For a light/mid beer this ain't too bad. Body is medium/light and quite malty, has a sweet finish with not much hops evident (may have just been the bottle). Good for a mid strenght. duff (5486) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2002
Re-rate: Aromatic (not as aromatic as the Little Creatures Pale). Not as flavourful as i remember my first sample to be, a bit light, and bit sweeter than the Little creatures, lovely hops, but i couldn't really get into it, still pretty good though. Original rating starts here (8/13/02): Quite aromatic and hoppy nose, very similiar to their Little Creatures Pale Ale, but a less flavourfull version, but tasty for 3.8% alcohol. Light tan, medium size, short lasting head, over a dark copper xtal clear coloured beer. Serious fruity peach and passionfruit with faint hints of malt and musty cellar yeast aroma - pretty amazing really for such a light beer. Body is light to thin with short mild fruity zingy and bitter start. Middle is mild dry typical english ale but a bit on the flat side for my taste. Finish is a very light sweet fading to ultra weak cordial. All in all still quite a nice beer especially if you are into light ale styles.
