750 ml bottle, Batch B008, bottled on 5/20/2016. Served in a Unibroue tulip, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with a couple inch frothy white head. Head retention is good, and there’s a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like citrus peel, funk, honey, grainy malt and some minerals. The brew tastes like citrus peel, lime, apricot, honey, funk, grainy malt, minerals, white wine/grapes and earthiness. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s well carbonated and pretty easy to drink. The soft carbonation helps make it refreshing, it would be really good on a hot summer day but it’s still good on a warmer November day too. I thought this was good, but then the other Little Fish brews I’ve tried have been good too. Hopefully they bottle more of their brews soon, I’d like to see more from them! $13.99 a bottle.
