7 oz botttle:
Pours crystal clear, bubbly gold with a short white head.
Scent is grain malt, corn.
Taste is creamy, sweet.....corn notes again.

Little bottle. Pours a clear golden color with effectively no head. Nose is a little skunky, like a cheap crappy lager. Taste is smooth and it does feel creamy, but not a lot to like about the beer.

Sledutah (7947) - Utah, USA - NOV 21, 2012
7oz green bottle from the state store

Appearance: Clear golden with a small white head, no lacing

Aroma and flavors of malts, grainy and corn, mild citrus

Ok, but glad this is only a 7oz bottle

From the 7oz bottle. Light gold pour with frothy white head. Grain and corn aroma. Medium body malt with just a touch of hop bite. Thick after taste, sweet and cloying. Decent little cream ale.

Used to have these little bottles way back befoore I starteed rating beers but this is the first time I’ve seen this in 8 years. Not sure if this is the right palce for this rating, on my bottles it says Schoenling little kings by Hudepohl Brewing Company in Cincinati but brewed in wilks bare so I guess its lion. Two 7 oz twist off pony bottles poured into a mug. No head and no visible signs of co2. Smell is typical green bottle lage but in the glass it goes more metallic on the olfactory. Pretty good co2 on the tongue tho none visible. Taste is mild lager tho its called cream ale here. Yes, slight hints of cheap malt liquor going on here. Could use a little more manners but I can’t really find anything negative about this.

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2012 Yellow with much head. Tastes of corn, thoroughly skunked. I like the little bottle and the retro, vaguely European label but blindfolded I doubt I’d be able to pick this one out of a lineup of macro pale lagers OR cream ales.
