2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is heavy on the raspberries though they come through though less strongly in the taste. Taste is missing something for me, a bit sour and watery in the middle. Maybe I should be drinking it in the summer?
Bottle from Secrett’ s Farm Shop. Currently retired. Back at 5.5%, from previous 5.0%.Strong raspberry aroma, with an almost boozy edge. An opaque orange-amber. Thick bubbly white head. Short-last lived sweetness. Then a sour tinged bitterness kicks in. The raspberry’ s there alongside citrus and a saltiness. However it’s never more than medium and somewhat one note. Relatively light bodied. An oilyness to it. Most impact comes from the carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Was hoping for a summer refresher but a bit boring and too dry. themightylazza (108) - - DEC 31, 2015
Pale red fruit beer with a light raspberry aroma, light carbonated raspberry flavour, weak watery finish. This is far too weak for its strength. Rob_D_UK (1366) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 14, 2015
Pours a dark reddish amber with a white head. Strong raspberry aroma and the taste is sweet berries with a touch of bitterness, refreshing. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - MAR 12, 2015
33cl fancy bottle split at The Rake, London. It pours a hazy amber/ruby color with a small tan head. Aroma is grainy, bready, fruity, with notes of raspberry jam and tart red currants. Taste is crispy and fruity, lightly sweet and perfumy, with notes of roses, raspberries, tart cherries, wheat and hay. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, probably the best Little Beer tried so far, as it’s not much sweeter than style guidelines olliejobbins (1577) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2014

Cloudy amber colour with an off white head. Quite dry tasting with a little fruit. A little wheaty and quite smooth. gegwilson (3827) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2014
Bottle from the Hog’s Back brewery shop. Slightly hazy amber with an off white head. Tart raspberry flavours initially before lightly metallic citrus hops flavour. A little marmalade too. A touch acidic. Light and refreshing. OK. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2014
Bottled 04/02/14. A pinky hued light red coloured beer with a whitish head. Nice acidity in the nose at first. Pleasant raspberries in the mouth with, again, a little acidity. Wheaty notes. Good flavours. An enjoyable proper fruit beer.
