A flavourful deep honey coloured Pilsner lager that is slow fermented & conditioned to bring out the best in the beer.
A study in purity, simplicity and cleanliness of flavour. A beer with a sharply snappy well-focused hop bitterness, a soft bready centre, and a very clean dry finish. Refreshing and will cut through any nonsense.

Bottle at home (picked up from the brewery) - 05/10/12. Pours a clear light golden with a bubbly white head that quickly thins to nothing. Hops, malts, honey and a little whiff of booze on the nose. Taste follows, sweetish profile, honey, a little caramelised sugar, toffee apple, a little spice. Great mouthfeel, medium bodied, fine carbonation lending to a crisp dry finish. Decent clean drinking pils.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with a frothy off white head, malt and caramel aroma, taste has bread dough, light citrus, caramel, sweet honey, ok.

33cl fancy bottle split at The Rake, London. It pours a light golden color with a minimal white head. Aroma is sweet and malty, with starch and bread. Taste is again medium sweet and only lightly crisp and grainy. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, not what I look for in a pilsener, too sweet

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours golden amber, nose is dull toffee, taste is sweet, thin, floral.

Bottle. Clear copper with a large good lacing off white head. Flowers and citrus in the nose. Smell nice. Hoppy notes of flowers and citrus are also up front in the flavour backed by some biscuit and light bready malts. Heading a bit towards a dunkel. Soft carbonation and some good bitterness. Drinks well, alcohol doesn’t show.

Pale grey yellow in the glass. Strong, lovely aroma: resin, reminds me of old violin lessons. Taste - nicely balanced, resin again, even slightly engine oil BUT delicious - work that one out, also pine? Overall: delicious actually.
