A lively red IPA made with Pale, Munich and Carapils Malts plus a generous helping of Chinook, Sorachi Ace, Columbus, Cascade & Amarillo hops.
This beer dances around your tongue but then packs in a good punch. A beer with a robust bitterness that is broad and bracing, but held together firmly by a solid backbone of malt. Red in colour, with bright grapefruit citrus aromatics that leap out of the glass. Endlessly appetising. Fragrant, bright, zingy, citrusy, robust and strong.

BeardedAvenger (1116) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2017
Bought at Surrey Wine Cellar, Chobham. New label design, bottle style and ABV at 5.9%. Underpowered aroma - a touch of grass and spruce. Bright amber, a tad opaque. Extremely lively carbonation, resulting in a massive off-white head. Bitter - with a harsh edge to it. Underlying juiciness. Grapefruit, quinine, tangerine, herbs. Medium bodied and slick. Somewhat astringent finish. Unbalanced - the harsh bitterness overpowers everything else and leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a hazy medium amber with a fizzy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, some fruity hop notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, smooth, fruity, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

330ml, no bb stamp, thanks BeardedAvenger (EU Swap 2016). Russet yellow pour. Aroma of Lady Gray peach ice tea - soft bergamotte, strong tea, soft peach. Attacks the palate with a sudden harsh black tealeaf, overcooked black tea, orange pekoe despite the mild carbonation. Lingering tealeaf bitterness - overcooked Chinooks? Little Harsh, not wild.

Murky copper pour with a white head. Light floral hop aroma. Really light taste, refreshing.

teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - MAR 12, 2015
Keg at The Rake, London. It pours a clean golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma is bitter and hoppy, with notes of grass, earth, leaves, floral. taste is quite dry and bitter, with more earth, dried leaves, hay and floral. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, not great

pours peachy golden with a billowy head that looks like meringue and was film by the end leaving decent lacing. aroma full of green hops, minerals and some metal. not much citrus or fruits but some floral action. Again, lots of mineral and even some earth in the taste. bitterness from the pith of a grapefruit but not much of the fruit. bit of veggie flavor as well. palate is a bit lively carbonation is active. Overall not bad but not what I look for in an IPA. Too aggressive all around, but refreshing.

bottle from kris wines. A nice grassy hop in the aroma a very bitter beer that has a nice tropicl fruit flavout running through it little bitter and a little sweet on the finish a very nice beer

SlackerMads (3514) - DENMARK - SEP 13, 2014
Small fat bottle with no best before date in the designated best before place on the label. Pours clear yellow/orange with a large frothy off white head. Peculiar nose of burnt rubber. The flavour open things up a lot with notes of black pepper, dry flowers, grass, dried plants, straw, bread. Has nicely balanced bitterness and lively carbonation that makes easy to drink. Not much of an American IPA, though.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours golden orange, nose is light lemon, taste is floral, juicy.

750ml bottle, best before Dec 2012, at tasting on 20 January 2013. Thanks to Theydon_Bois for sharing. Described as a Red IPA but didn’t seem that red to me. More like golden amber. Decent enough hops here - peppery and citric (grapefruit at the same time). A touch restrained but note this was a touch beyond its best before date so the hop character may have faded somewhat. Should probably try this again, but fresher. The balancing malts are quite fruity with a touch of (unwanted) toffee. Solid enough.
