COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The clean, dry lagers of Vienna provide inspiration for our Big Bark Amber Lager. European malted barley lends it a soft body with a depth of malty richness and aroma. Small additions of noble hops gently balance characteristics of the malt. Cold fermentation and conditioning assure a beer with a clean finish, showcasing the interplay of the malt and hops. A beer of fine malt character and subtle hop nuance, it is accessible, smooth, and satisfying.

Clear amber in color with a great head and lacing. Good malty grain nose with a hint earth. Nice malt profile with a earthy hop bite. Good beer.

valpoaj (742) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Tap - poured reddish brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma is mostly malty, hint of dark fruit, floral notes, slightly yeasty. Flavor is basic, but enjoyable with sweet malt the name of the game - hint of dark fruit here as well. Palate is medium bodied. Unremarkable, but not offensive in the least.

Amber brew with small fast fading head. Smells of caramel malt and the taste is malty but very well balanced out to not be sweet. Very chuggable brew.

On draught at Posse East in Austin. This is my regular go-to beer at this location. Pours transparent amber. Nice malty balance with a very smooth finish. Can drink several, so makes a nice session beer in my opinion. Seems stronger than most lagers but without published alcohol content, cannot confirm this. Goes nice with a Posse burger basket!!

Light amber with minimal head. Light yeast and spice aroma. Thin. A slight hint of cinnamon and lemon. Not a fan.

On draught- Pours a deep amber with about an inch of white head on top. Has a fruity aroma and the taste is malty with a perfect hop taste to join it. Smooth mouth feel, great beer!

GABF 2005: Amber color with small head. Aroma was strange but, I didn’t really nail anything down. The taste was OK. This was just an OK beer.

On tap at the Saucer in San Antonio. Pours a clear honey-colored body topped with and ivory-colored sticky head. Nose is very slight bready malt. Flavor is bready, lightly sweet and mildly hop bitter. Lively carbonation and a medium mouthfeel. Clean finish with no bitterness.
