Draught at Opal Divine’s Freehouse, Austin, Oct. 18. Pours a hazy golden-orange with a small frothy white head. Mild but pleasant aroma of light hops, fruit and caramel malt. Flavour: Hmmm, a bit odd for an IPA, it’s semi-sweet, fruity and grainy with a decent bitter finish. Average bodied. I found this just good, it’s not what I look for in an IPA. msante79 (2225) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - JUL 4, 2012
On tap at The Ginger Man-Dallas. Pours clear golden orange with white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel malts, and floral hops. Flavors of citrusy hops and caramel malts. Average IPA. fiveacestx (972) - Texas, USA - MAR 18, 2012
On tap at Crickets in Waco, TX. Has a light copper color to it with not much of a head and some average lacing. The aroma was very average but the taste was decent (nice floral hops). Had a medium body to it and was very drinkable. ben4321 (6668) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 17, 2012

Aroma: It has a fairly subtle aroma of light malts, plus some citrus and floral hops
Appearance: The pour is a clear orange color, with a small white head, and medium lacing
Flavor: The taste is fairly balanced, citrus/caramel sweetness, some fairly bitter hop flavors
Palate: The body is light-medium, it rounds out nicely, is decently smooth, and quite dry on the end palate
I found this one to be a solid IPA with a better taste then aroma. It wasn’t a spectacular example of the style, but it was solid enough...
On tap at the Gingerman in West U. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Piney hop aromas. A real nice IPA with good balance. Pine and citrus hop notes kept in check by a sturdy caramel malt backbone. Impressive...

Draft. Pretty clear, dark golden-amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma, a little faint for the style, of pine, caramel, citrus and bread. The taste is malty with a nice moderate bitterness. Medium bodied. Somewhat mild, but a more than acceptable IPA. Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 15, 2011
On tap at the Highball in Austin. Out of season, apparently. Amber pour with a small white head. Aroma is a little citrus, grain, and a little bread. Taste is earthy, bitter, a faint amount of fruit, and a little grass. Dixonian (1562) - Plano, Texas, USA - FEB 28, 2011
On tap - Vickery Park in Plano.
Deep golden orange color with a decent amount of white head. Smells delicious - lots of citrus hops with some pine and bready malt as well. Slightly sweet flavor with a malt backbone that keeps the bitterness at bay. One of my favorite Texas brewed IPAs.
