COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With about 6.0% ABV, this one will surely warm the ol’ gullet during a cold central Texas winter - both days! Our India Pale Ale (IPA) is light in color and strong in hop character. Dry hopping with Cascade hops, gives this winter favorite a delicious citrus note reminiscent of a Texas Ruby Red. Yes, it’s warming but you don’t need to be huddled around the furnace to enjoy this one! IPA fans really love this ale during a beautiful Texas winter on the porch or indoors. Available December - April.

Draft at Flying Saucer/Addison. Amber brew with an inviting visual. Super hoppy with a sharp metallic bite at the finish. Doesn’t seem as well balanced as it could be, unfortunately, I’m sure there’s a pile of quality ingredients in this ... (#4038, 12/14/2010)

Tap at Ginger Man Austin. Clear to hazy golden pour. Slight white head. Aroma of soft hops. Gentle floral notes that touch on lighter senses. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is easy-drinking hops with light citrus hops. Lemony flavor. Finishes slightly watery with some bitterness. Not too bad.

This beer pours a cloudy dull yellow with a thin white head. The aromas are citrus, pine and bread. The mouthfeel is bitter and watery. This is a good beer. Nice representation of the style. Cheers1

(draught at Flying Saucer on the Lake) medium copper-orange, lasting creamy head and good lacing. Nose of oranges, yeast, pine and grapefruit. Taste of oranges, nice malty backbone, cream, honey, melon, light bitterness with a medium body that is VERY creamy. A really nice IPA!

Pours a hazy yellow orange ish color with a medium sized puffy head. Notes of white grapefruit juice, white grape juice, pine, and caramel. Little bit stinky and earth. Just ok.

Sampled on tap at the Draught House in early May 2010. The beer pours a yellow-orange color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the floral hops and I almost get some grape-like notes. The flavor is floral hops with some more grapes as well as some light citrus notes. Medium bitterness, medium carbonation and medium mouthfeel. As much as I wanted to like this beer, I just couldn’t get past the big floral notes.

It’s back! On tap at Uncle Billy’s in Austin. Delicious. Nice hop profile as I remember. Great aroma. Nice lingering bitterness in aftertaste. Some earthy tones along with a bit of citrus. Yum.

On tap at the Gingerman from notes I wrote a napkin a while ago. Golden in color with a decent head. Smell is hops, little light for an IPA for me and citrus from those hops. Taste is low to medium hop bitterness, citrus, and some pine.
