2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at the Highball in Austin. Out of season, apparently. Amber pour with a small white head. Aroma is a little citrus, grain, and a little bread. Taste is earthy, bitter, a faint amount of fruit, and a little grass.
Draft at Delicious. Light gold pour, no real head. Nose is wood. Bitter. Middle is pine needles, some orange, medium malt backbone. Finish is bitter. lownote (585) - Austin, Alabama, USA - MAR 15, 2017
Nice resin and citrus aroma. Not super intense but pleasant. Super clear with a white head that fades a but fast. Nice malt flavor, lots citrus hop flavor, and just a bit of bitterness for balance. Good beer that feels a bit more pale ale than ipa. rgf001 (351) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 4, 2016
Too bad the brewery needs to pander to the IPA crowd. Stick to the great German beers. BiddleBrau (1238) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 16, 2016
Hazy gold white head. Crisp hop bite follows the citrus aroma. Finishes pretty clean. Fit my mood well at the moment Bronzan (158) - Windsor, California, USA - JUN 27, 2016
At Meddlesome Moth, Dallas. Seemed more like a Pale than an IPA. Not as earthy and hoppy as I generally prefer. Medium bodied. Not terribly memorable.

Draft @ The League Kitchen & Tavern, Austin, TX. 22 oz mug. Cloudy gold/ orange colored beer with lasting frothy head. Some lacing. Smell is a nice bold floral hops with tones of pine. Bitterness was long lasting with a big floral presence. NachlamSie (3568) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 16, 2014
Body is medium with a nice bone dry texture. This paired really well with my homemade burger and fries. Truly a nice bone dry IPA. Enjoyable.
Pint at Shady Grove. Pours cloudy orange with a small head. Aroma is grassy, caramelly, with weird rubber-hose type notes. This actually smells and tastes a lot like the last pale ale I made. Curious to dig on the recipe and see what’s going on. The flavor is decent, grassy citrusy hops on a sweet malt base. It’s got that same rubber/bandage type quality, though not egregious. It’s not quite as hoppy as your standard American IPA. deyholla (12191) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 23, 2014
On tap. Pours a clear amber gold with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of citrus with a touch of resin and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has sweet citrus with a bit of bitterness and a grain backbone. Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Tap at BJ’s in Austin, TX June 2014. Pours bright orange with a fluffy white head and some sparse lacing. nose is sort of dull and mutted. some signiture citrus in there mostly cascade grapefruit and some off-notes (not really diacytl, but something is bad here). flavors are pretty mutted as well, mostly signiture cascade grapefruit rinds and some bitterness. pretty dull ipa however, i dont think this was fresh.
