COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An easy drinking medium body lager, with just a tiny hint of roastiness and a noticeable but well-balanced hop presence thats not overly bitter. An opaque black lager that reveals deep ruby undertones in the light. Munich, Pilsner and Black Malt flavors play off the flowery, spicy notes of Noble German hops. Cold fermentation and conditioning with Bavarian lager yeast assures a clean draught with a dry finish.

Enjoyed on tap while waiting for wife to visit shitty shops in Gruene, TX. Color of cola, thin whispy off white head. Roasted nut aroma, pecan. Thin, pretty one dimensional on the tongue but quite refreshing on a mild Texas day, coffee, toffee, caramel. Not bad.

A dark brown medium bodied beer with a frothy tan head. Clean minerally aroma. Flavor is mostly toasty malt with a good hop balance. Backend is slightly creamy. Good on a spring day for sure.

Pint glass at DH- served a black color with ruby undertones, 1mm off tan head that tried to lace. Aroma of milk chocolate, caramel, and determination- hey, thats what the notes say! Hits the mouth with a well recieved medium body, malt tastes just slightly toasted- close enough, almost a silky sensation as it comes off the tongue. Austins forgotten brewery can still turn some heads.

Aroma of roasted malts. Pours a brownish black with a rapidly dissipating tan head and no lacing. The taste is robust. Dark roasted malts, wood, with hints of coffee. Medium medium-light with medium carbonation. Overall, I liked this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
