Clearish black with an average beige head. Aroma of not much but some roast. Mild taste of roast and ash. Thin. Nothing here. Didn’t even finish the pint. Nero55 (944) - Nevada, USA - MAY 30, 2013
Draft. Dark brown with small tan head. Aroma of caramel and butterscotch. Light body with bitter roasted malts upfront and a cardboard and stale coffee finish. lb4lb (2632) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 9, 2014
Pours dark brown to black with a small head. Smell is smoky roast and yeasty. Toasty, roasty malt with an almost smokiness to it. Didn’t have very good carbonation as it was poured on tap to a pitcher, and then my glass. Didn’t care for this one and I’d stick to their Pilz or Hefeweizen if given the chance.
