Clear amber with a whitish head and moderate lacing. Aroma of caramel and toasty malt with light smoke. More smoke in the taste atop a mild malty sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Not bad. lownote (585) - Austin, Alabama, USA - NOV 25, 2015
Light malty aroma. Clear copper, white head. Taste is sweet at first and then the smoke takes over, lingering for a while. Canít figure out how to rate that. At first itís great but it gets to be too much. I would drink again but it could be less smoky. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Holy shit, this is a smoky beer. Reminds me of beef for some reason. Maybe from eating enough, not too much, brisket. For all you techies out there its a reddish tinted amber lager, clean, with no head. The finish is just like the flavor, as Iíve already described.
