Pale yellow, high carbonation aroma is bready/malty. it's a very good slightly lager-y pale ale. Somewhat reminiscent of a kolsch, or maybe a classic pilsner actually. There's a good malty base going on, with enough crispness to cut through it, and some of the delicate rye/grass flavour too.

Dark golden color with a fine off white head. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Ok lasting tail and a balanced sweetness/bitterness. Rye, malty, herbal, fruity and some citric notes. Nice tasty beer.

Not bad. But for me this was not about rye at all. It was just a pale ale that maybe had some rye thrown in. Rye beers tend to slighlty spicy this was not

Bottle from Marks and Spencer, Metrocentre, Gateshead. Cloudy yellow coloured with a thin white head of foam. It has a sweet lemon and herbal fruity flavour with smooth vanilla and gentle oak on the fruity finish. Good.

harrisoni (19753) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2016
Bottle from M&S Stratford and drunk at home. Amber slight haze lasting white head. A little fuller in the mouth with the rye, some spiciness, that rye flavour you get, Some decent hops, but not very bitter, more about the Rye than anything else, but decent flavour. OK.

Bottle. Light rye weirdness, feels boozy, something off in there for me, plastic. Not for me.
