A hazy orange colored pour with a small off-white head. Nose is incredibly fruit forward. Tangerine, peach, grapefruit, and nectarine notes up front. Tons of oak and vanilla, some mild tartness, and a bit of malt sweetness. Sweet fruit flavors, too. Tangerine, nectarine, and peach are particularly pronounced. Light caramel sweetness, tart lemon, oak, and some vanilla. Very mild mustiness on the finish. Tmoney99 (14456) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 6, 2015
Draft. Poured clear reddish amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy dark toasted malt, alcohol and wood aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Moderate to heavy dark sweet & sour flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a complex standout beer. crossovert (12874) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2013
It is a sour wheatwine. I think most people aren’t usually fans of the style and im so so on it. This one is lighter on the palate malt-wise so it takes in a good amount of barrel and sourness. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Orangish pour, off white head. Tart flavor, some citrus notes, light toffee, a hint of wheat, malty flavors mixed with a fruity and tartness. Neat beer. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 19, 2014

Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin off white film. The aroma and flavor have caramel, tart fruit character, the Jim Beam barrel is pretty forceful on the finish, booze, maybe this will smooth out with more time. phaleslu (10246) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2015
Bottle shared by tmoney99 - thanks again, Tom! 2015 vintage. Pours a hazy, dull orange gold with an off-white ring for a head. Notes of vanilla, caramel, wheat, oak, toasted sugar, apricot, funk, pineapple, cedar, florals, and spice. Medium-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a sweet, dry mouthfeel. Complex and unexpected in the directions it takes. marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 13, 2015
On tap at The Livery. Pours amber with an attractive beige head and a fruity bourbon aroma. There is a yeast- laden wheat flavor with plenty of lingering Jim Beam vibes.a nice sipper. arminjewell (9635) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUL 19, 2014
Pour out of 750 ml bottle, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of vanilla, earth, grass, hints of caramel, hints of grain, yeast. Taste is a mix of grass, caramel, toffee, dark fruit, hints of vanilla, oak, slight sour fruit notes. Pretty tasty, but sweet. b3shine (8864) - Indiana, USA - AUG 16, 2015
Draft to taster at the brewpub. Looks good; a hazy deeper apricot with foamy eggshell head. Smells malty with notes of dark fruit, caramel, and twangy oak alongside a touch of toffee and maple syrup. Tastes like it smells with. Some vanilla as well. Mouthfeel is medium full-bodied. A great example of the style.
