Draft: Poured at the brewpub...clear, light bronze color with a nice white head, good retention and lacing noted. Nose hints at grassy hops, resin, flowers and lemon. Big, lemongrass taste that is bittered up to the heavens...some pale malts and floral notes are their along with a light citrus accent. RAYBOY01 (2011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 10, 2008
Hazy golden pour floating a medium fluffy white head and emanating a pretty robust PNW citrus and pine aroma. Biscuity caramel malts, sweet and bread-like with tons of orange. tangarine and pine needles throughout the palate make this IIPA very satisfying for those seeking an over-the-top hop bite. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 30, 2008
(Draft) Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, caramel, toasted grain, and herbs. Flavor of hops (citrus, herbal) and caramel malt. lordeche (479) - Quincy, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 24, 2008
ACBF on 6/21. Nice malt in the beginning, nice citrusy hop at the end. Enough said... but this one is much better than it sounds. Turns out you can get a ton of flavor and complexity out of one hop variety and one malt. Well done. bigtaster (979) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 7, 2008
Draft in a tulip. Lasting white head with a fairly clear orange yellow color. Citrus, grapefruit aroma. Good bitterness long lasting and drinkable. Good solid IPA.

In short: A juicy (grapefruits and such) hoppy blonde ale . Very refreshing Rogueone (506) - I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA - MAY 19, 2008
How: Tap at brewpub
TheyThe look: Cloudy blonde body with a long-lasting medium white head.
In long: Tropical fruits covered by honey and some caramel. Very juicy floral hops with quite a bit of grapefruits and a medium tartness. Very refreshing. No alcohol presence whatsoever. Fresh crispness feeling. Nothing resinous or heavy here, this IPA more concerned about being refreshing than being a hard-core extreme bitter American IPA. To kick more ass this beer would have to served in a boot.
Snifter @ Hopcat: Wow. I thought this was fantastic. Pours a glowing, hazy orange. Smells like fresh squeezed white grapefruits. Bitterness just rolls off the tongue here. Dangerously drinkable. sneagrams3 (2337) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 13, 2008
Tasted 4/27/08. 6oz sampler from the brewpub. Filtered with a honey gold hue. Trace white head. Citrus and grapefruit nose. Crisp smooth and appley. Bright and fresh. WOW! Big and meaty beer. Full bodied and sticky. Lotta hoppy flavor. So nice. One of my favorites from this place. holdenn (2116) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2008
Sampled at Pre-DLD gathering thanks to kmweaver. Pours a hazy orange with an off-white head. Nose is citrusy, orange, and caramelized malts. Watery body. Caramels, citrus, grass and pine flavors. The citrus and grass notes linger for a while on the tongue with a bitter finish. Decent beer. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - APR 28, 2008
Draft @ The Livery. Pours a bright, deep honey-golden color; bright white head with perfect retention and lacing that coats the glass; a gorgeous pour. Resiny, sweet oranges and citrus hops in the aroma; soft and generous and juicy. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: intensely smooth, resinous oranges, citrus, and floral hoppy notes upfront; touch of acidity; so smooth, resiny, oily and dense; intensely drinkable. Awesome IPA. Lengthy finish: resinous oranges, citrus, and a touch of sugar.
