COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired from a conversation with good friend and editor of the Great Lakes Brewing News, Bill Metzger, Brewmaster Steve blended a Belgian Amber Ale with 120# of Michigan Harmony peaches from Husteds Farm Market in a merlot cask. 4 wild yeast fermentations later and yet another cask aging results in an exquisite sour peach ale.

Bottle from WeeHeavySD at toncatchers T3. Cloudy amber color. Sour peach. Lightly sweet. Easy to drink. Nice! Should this be 4% instead of 14%?

Muddy amber color. Sour aroma and flavor, some fruitness hiding here and there, vinegar aggressiveness. Pleasant but missing some good points.

RBESG Sheffield 2009 Grand Tasting at the Harlequin. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of sourness, bit of peach, other stonefruits coming through, sweetness. Flavour is light sour, bit of peach, yeasty spiciness, light sour finish. Medium to fullbodied. Excellent balance, really nice stuff. I dont like peach or really sour beers, but this was one tasty brew!

750mL Bottle. Thanks Sean! Cold, light sour grilled peach aroma. Amazing sunshine and coppery golden fall color. No head. Flavor kicks heavy with some sugary pale fruit and some strong citric acids and a nice woody back. Nice plain funk, some peachy sweetness, a bit of woody pit and some really nice dryness. Amazing balance. Very refined and clean feeling. A bit of okay butteriness. A very nice beer. Low on the sourness, but very nice otherwise.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroam is sweet malty combined with an acidic note, as well as fruits and a light touch of acetone. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of fruit as well as light notes of acetone, leading to a tart finish.
