On tap @ GTMW 2008. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. Aroma of peaches, oak, and malt. Taste is tart and semi sour. Has a nice funky complex flavor with a pleasent dry character. One of my favorites from the GTMW.

Bomber handbottle from my Mike, hell yeah 3rd Handbottled tonight and I’m starting to feel it. Pours reddish amber with a thin head that faded quickly. Nose is peachy with no hint of booze. Taste is peachy sour, funky and big. This is a crazy, the peach is big the sour is big, the wood from the cask and some of the wine comes through. I can’t taste the 12% but I can sure feel it. Or am I just drunk, either way this is a funky fruit beer, more of a sour if you ask me. tjthresh (1873) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - AUG 16, 2008
12 ounce hand bottle from BBB63. Pours dark red, bordering on brown. No signs of carbonation, let alone head, in the pour. The aroma is very woody, with some signs of the merlot. Given a good swirl, the peach comes out real nice. Not a sweet nectar aroma. Just a good fruity nose. There is a bit more peach character in the flavor. It starts off with a nice peach and then switches to the barrel character in the finish. Its a long finish. Medium body. Flat. Dry. Really good, but flat. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 15, 2008
gtmw 08.... lighter apple cider brown with little to no head.... flavor was sweeter than anticipated, lighlty sour peaches, somewhat tart, little to mild carbonation. pretty nice and the could barely tell that this was 12% so it hid it pretty well. xmarcnolanx (945) - Kirkwood, Missouri, USA - AUG 15, 2008
Tap GTMW 2008
Aroma is sour, lactic, dry, and peachy, and funked up.
Taste is sour peach with lots of dryness, a bit grainy.

Tap at GTMW ’08. Pours a clear copper...no head to speak of. Aroma is heavy on peach with some good levels of sweet malt, and a bit of a funky note as well. Aroma is nicely mixed between peach flavors and sweet malts, and has a very vinious character with some oak notes and a relatively heavy level of sour funk which elevated this beer from good to very, very good. Very tart finish that really ends with a dry note to keep you coming back. Palate has a good level of carbonation and is pretty heavy...the alcohol is there, but I’d never guess 12%. Very nice offering...probably the best peach flavored beer I’ve had to date Ughsmash (7502) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 12, 2008
On tap at GTMW. Poured lighter, translucent coppery-amber with no head. The aroma picked up bushels of juicy peaches with dry oaky notes and peach skins accenting.. sour and engaging. The flavor had sour peach skins on the fore with more juicy fruit behind.. grainy oak and more fruity sourness on the edges.. long, warm, puckeringly-sour finish.. excellent! Dry and sour on the palate with lots of peaches.. near-perfect balance and presentation. 1FastSTi (3358) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Tap. GTMW 2008. The beer pours to a clean amber body with a super thin white head. The aroma is peachy but mostly malt. The flavor is tart but has a balanced sour peach and some oaky wood. Sweet and sour peaches with a tart palate that has a nice pectin mouthfeel. pnista (1007) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - AUG 11, 2008
Great Taste ’08. Pours a warm hued golden brown, very hazy, with a bit of a head. The nose is round with peaches, some vanilla aspects with a bit of a funky twang. Fuller in the mouth than I expected, and definitely not burdened with as much viscosity as I’d expect in something with such a high ABV and fruit. The flavor is a bit less peachy, and a bit more oaky. Definitely vanilla. The tannins reign it in a bit. Some definite caramel too. Fun beer. thegreenrooster (4633) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 11, 2008
Pour was a murkey brown with a small white head. Aroma is sweet with some fruit and malt. Flavor is much better, almost like a sour ale. I got more of a cherry than peach but it does have a lot of oak and a strong tartness. Finish is dry and vinegar. The 12% was no problem but you probably can’t have to much of this in one sitting.
