Draft to taster at The Livery. Looks good for a pils; a cloudy gold with white lacing. Smells doughy. Tastes like it smells with a pilsner snap. Mouthfeel is average. Decent. gorditoabd (636) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 12, 2012
Sampler at the Livery. Wheat gold color. Lacy foam. Sweet honey funky aroma with maybe some lemon zest. Taste is more strong of the citrus and wheat. Well balanced and light without being wimpy. Maybe a bit of residual funk. Joel says banana and cloves, but I don’t see it... Pretty damn good for the style... MrBunn (2836) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 12, 2012
Sampler at the Livery. Pour is a hazy light gold with aromas of bananas and cloves with a little grass. Flavor is heavy (oddly?) with bananas and cloves up front and in the finish but then things get a little washed out between the front and tail ends. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 23, 2010
Tap at the Livery. Hazy yellow pour with medium sized head. Lemon, grass, cloves and spices. Some wet socks in the finish. Basic, but good. Refreshing. Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 29, 2010
Draft. Nose is grain, mild earthy hops, mild grass, delicate citrus. Flavours are not nearly so interesting, earthy hops, and a very off-putting, vile grain bill. Not my thing.

Best lager brewer in the US? I think so at least... Fresh grassy, herbal hops with a touch of lemon and some doughy malt in the nose. Very lightly sweet, lightly bitter taste with grass, herbs and flowers, light honey and a touch of citrus on the finish. Medium body is round, with solid, moderately dense carbonation. Absolutely world class. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 7, 2010
tap at the brewery (warning - my notes are months old) - Pours hazy yellow with good lacing and a yeasty, bready malt, and flowery hop aroma. The flavor is a well balanced blend of the bready malt and crisp hops. Solid, easy drinking brew. dm9831 (1512) - Monee, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2009
hazy yellow color, fluffy white head, nicely lacy. bready and grainy nose, with a trace of hoppiness. the flavor follws the nose with earthy grain and bitter hops balancing each other out. medium bodied, clean finish. i am not sure how much i was drinking here (i.e., a lot) but my notes say "flavor-icious", which i assume is a good sign. on tap at the livery. Pours a nice dark golden hazy pour, good bright white head that dies to a film and clings to the glass and laces well. Aromas are lightly sweet, a bit earthy. Initial is cereal and grainy, slight pilsner stink with noble hop presence, light bodied and easily quaffable with good bitterness with lemongrass coming into the equation. Flavorful and to style, this beer is something I would drink in copious amounts in the summer months. A touch of stink. SrSilliGose (3331) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - MAY 9, 2009
