erickok (5688) - Leuven, BELGIUM - OCT 3, 2014
Blond body, okay head. Sweet malts, fruity belgina yeast, peachy and some grass hops. Malty sugar body, heavy alcohol warmth, only barely saved itself from total disaster by the pleasant lively/heavy carbonation. Really way too much alcohol, but it is at least not artificial and neither is it flavourless. Ugly ass label and ugly ass beer, but sometimes ugly isnt all bad at all, I suppose. A butherface... great body and you don;t mind the character sometime. (33cl bottle from Bire et Malt)

Bottle from a gift. Golden colour, white foam. Rather high carbonation. Fruity aroma with notes of citrus. Alcoholic aftertaste. Light bitter. Not easy drinkable.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Gushed a little. Thin creamy white head. Golden pour with chunks in it. A herbal aftertaste.

kermis (12190) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 1, 2014
Bottle shared. Pours a clear big floater dark golden with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, butterscotch, citrus, toffee, caramel malt. Nothing like a blond as the name suggests. Flavor is medium to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with high carbonation.

Commissioned tripel with creamy but thin head and hazy peach blonde robe. Aroma of honey, apple sauce, biscuit, ginger, white pepper, orange liqueur, caramel candy; fruity taste, some toasted malts, mild bitterish finish with warming alcohol.

Bottle @ home. Birra ambrata, velata, con schiuma beige fine abbastanza persistente. Aroma fruttato, agrumato, pompelmo giallo. Speziato di cannella e coriandolo. Zucchero di canna e lievito belga. Gusto secco, speziato, leggermente acido. Poco corposa, spigolosa, astringente. Non molto carbonata. Armonica, ma non del tutto equilibrata.

Een blond bier met spijtig genoeg iets te weinig smaak aan. Ik vond het niets bijzonders.

Pours golden liquor, big frothy white head that dinimishes slowly. Aroma of ripe fruit, banana, caramel. Mellow mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation; excellent alcohol masking. Balanced, not particularly strong, finish. Taste of caramel, sugar, honey, ripe fruit.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours clear gold with white head. Spicy citrus aroma. Taste is strong alcohol, sherbet, spice and candi sugar with a long bitter finish. At 10% its perhaps a little too strong for the style and not particularly easy drinking. Not one I would reach for again.
