On gravity at the Great Welsh Beef Festival Cardiff, June 2011. Black with no head. Aroma of chocolate and dark fruit. Thin bodied, with some burnt cereals and a touch more chocolate. Would agree with the comment below about it being more mild like. Not a beer I would rush to drink again. fonefan (49554) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2011

Cask (gravity) @ GWBCF2011 - Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival, Cardiff Interantional Arena, Mary Ann Street, Cardiff, Wales.
Clear dark brown colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted notes, keller, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, berries - blackcurrant, dark malt, dark roasted, earthy, chocolate - coffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
Cask@GWBCF2011. Very deep amber colour, close to black, with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild roasted malts, maple syrup, mild wood and some dark dry fruits. Flavour is quite much the same. More like a dark mild than a stout in my opinion.
