On tap at the Chicago Beer Society's annual picnic, self-dispensed to plastic showing a hazed, orangey/gold color, with a presentable layer of soft white foam, and some frothy cling to the lacing. The nose was soft malt & sweetness, subtle spice, and slight citrusy tartness. Ditto on the flavor, light to medium bodied, with good carbonation, and a modest, earthy bitterness. No nonsense, light, and pleasantly appropriate for the occasion. rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2017
Thanks to the VDS-TMKs. Tart lemony, slightly hoppy grassy. Nicely done. Serving: Bottle crossovert (13866) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 15, 2017
Draft. A tart and lemony saison, not too strong, easy to drink, nice for summer.
