Bottle courtesy Henriksoegaard. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, cany sugar, caramel and hops. Oakes (19370) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2005
Cherryish chestnut colour with a quicky dissipating head. Toasty, nutty aroma but hints at some unpleasantness. Malty palate with earthy-toffeeish flavours. Thin and thick at the same time- lots of unfermented sugars but maybe not enough lagering time to bring them all together into a cohesive unit. Hint of nuttiness. Sweet, earthy finish. Good, but not great example of Czech tmavy. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 3, 2010
Bottle. Amber color, beige head. Malty caramel aroma, sugary, diacetyl notes. Malty flavor, roasted, a bit spicy, some fruity notes. Some marcipan. Dry bitter finish with sweeter notes. TBone (18551) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2007

Dark ruby red color, big brown head. Chocolaty, grassy and cardboardish nose. Dry, harsh malty, light burned notes, subdued toffee flavors. Light and not very interesting - lacks hop presence.
Very smooth dark lager. Nice black pour. Nose and taste of light chocolates, some breads and lightly sweetened cereal. Rated 2/21/03

Bottle - Light toffee, dark sugars and some raisin. Deep dark clear brown with a decent beige head that fades quick. Nutty, caramel and dark sugars, with some bread. Nice, but maybe a touch too sweet. Benzai (16918) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 13, 2014
Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Dark brown color with a deep dark red glare coming through when held into the light, full sized tan head that lasts for a decent while. Bottle @ Germany. Pours unclear amber with a small creamy off white head. Chewy caramel and toffee. Some vague butter notes. Sweet. Bready. Very smooth and lots of chewy malts. Quite good despite the sweetness. MiP (16054) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 21, 2007
Draught at BBF07 as Lobkowicz Dunkel. Very dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is slightly roasted with a hint of barley bitterness. Well-balanced. HenrikSoegaard (14704) - Randers, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2009
Bottle. Bought in Schlitz, Germany. 0,55 Euro! Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. DArk amber colour. Light malty and slighyl caramellic aroma and flavor. Short light bitter finish. Oily palate. Not very good but al least very cheap!
