Dark brown body with a decent tan head. Nutty ,coffee and caramel. Average carbo. Well balanced and quite drinkable .One of the best quality /price ratio beers that I’ve drunk in Germany and my best Dunkel/Tmavý so far.

mgermani (1010) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2007
Pours a clear, dark amber with a nice off-white head and slightly yeasty aroma. Amber lager malting, bready yeastiness and very smooth with hints of diacetyl. Creamy body, low carbonation. Without ratebeer at hand, I had thought this to be a Maibock. Not bad.

Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - AUG 12, 2004
Bottled in Stella, Praha 5. Dark brown colour and medium white/beige head. Caramelly and slightly roasty aroma. Nutty, malty and chololatey flavour. It was one of my first Czech dark lagers and I still love it.

Powertrip (1000) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 13, 2007
Aroma of hops and sweet caramel and malt. To much of a bitter-sweet unbalance on the flavor...but a pleasent faint roast. Very little aftertaste for such a strong personality, and a moderate palate with just a touch too much carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2003 Big Saaz nose and flavor which works wonderfully with the light chocolate malt flavors. The palate is like silk. Rather impressed with this one.

500 ml bottle. Sweet chocolate and coffee aroma. Dark brown colour with an off white head. Roasted coffee, nutty and dark chocolate flavours. Medium bodied with a malty finish. A pleasant brew.

Cole (967) - , Alberta, CANADA - AUG 5, 2010
pours clear dark brown. Thick light brown head low retention. Very sweet malty aroma with notes of candy and dark fruits. Nice flavour. Malty and rich with a distinct flavour of Vienna malt. Suprisingly complex. This is a great dunkle.

loweredsixth (946) - Clovis, California, USA - AUG 21, 2003
Glowing brown/ruby color with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma and flavor had some roasted grain, sweet malt, caramel, and slight smokiness. The feel was a little watery.

Meh. Dark brown pour with a thin beige head. Fruity sweet flavour with some syrupy chocolate flavours.

Nice one. Golden color. It’s hoppy and yeasty with well balanced carbonation. It’s preety drinkable.
