COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lord Nelson in not only a type of 4 cylinder 4-6-0 steam locomotive built in 1926. It’s also our homage to a Mediterranean white wine, we figured if a hop is bred to mimic the fruitiness of Sauvignon Blanc grapes we will craft an IPA which mimics a white wine, a white wine with a punch that is. This is not your ordinary IPA, this is our IPA with a twist. Lord Nelson India Pale Ale 6.1% ABV 80 IBU Our homage to a Mediterranean white wine, fresh citrus tones, lychees earthy spices from the Nelson Sauvin, Columbus and Citra hops.

Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has fresh minerally crispness. Thin malts. Light floralness. Little floral citrus. Little pith. Finishes light and dry, for an IPA - a bit of a fresh air beer!

Not fruity, not rund und a little bit RYEy😎. 0,33l Buddel aus Tilburg. MITRA. 3€.

Sample at All In Beer Fest. Smell of crushed flower stalks and some hops. Similar taste. Needs some work. Oxidized?

makromaniak (160) - Tilburg, NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2016
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2017 Hazy orange with a white(kinda creamy) head. Citrus, grapes(white wine), lichee, grass and gooseberries. Light to medium bodied. Very fresh, little sourtwist and quite oily. Another "weird" one wich deserves more development from LOC but once again they managed to find there own spot in an overcrowded beerstyle. Like the oats in there too :P

Moolesen (634) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 23, 2016
Bottle 33cl. Orange with a huge off white head. Strong aroma of grapefruit and some ripe wine. Nice taste with plenty, but not too much, bitter hops. Nice beer.
