COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brew nver meant to be. The recipe was never written and the ABV and IBU was never calculated. But the Naughty boy wouldnt listen, so from the second running’s of the LOC Brewery Imperial Stout’84 He Became... I He’s any good, well we dare not to say as this naughty boy is not to be trusted. Slightly toasted, malty flavour with a hint of savory together with the characteristics from the cascade and centennial hops.

Black with lasting head. Aroma has roasted malts, coffee and a touch of aniseed. Nice bitter flavour not only from the roasted malts but also plenty of hop bitterness in the finish.

10/VI/16 - 33cl bottle @ Klaas’ Totem Brewery Unofficial Inauguration BBQ Tasting - BB: XI/2017 (2016-639) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark brown beer, huge creamy dense beige head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, lots of dried fruits, bit smoky, malty, floral touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, pretty roasted., bitter. Aftertaste: little floral, bitter hops, roasted, some cocoa powder. Pretty decent beer, love the low abv!

Aroma is burnt malts, dark chocolates and coffee. Taste is a pretty hard roasted malt sensation, almost burnt. Weak body and watery. Pretty high hop bitterness.

Bottle from Drank van de Meisjes, BB 11 2017, large sample. Dark brown color, big rocky head. Aroma of roasted malts, slight spicy, hint of lactose, earthy. Bit dry in taste, slight lactic sourness, roasty bitterness, bit harsh from lautering a bit too much. Dry in the finish, some dark chocolate and dark bread. Ok.

Deze stout is redelijk standaard. Een doordringende koffiesmaak met een gebrek aan een zoete laag. De smaak is hierdoor redelijk eentonig. Pikzwart bier met een mooie schuimlaag.

33cl bottle at home. Hazy dark brown with a full beige head. Light to medium body with moderate to fizzy carbonation. Quite bitter with subtle sweet tones. Coffee, pine, roasted malts, some chocolate, brown sugar and spices. A tad too watery, but overal OK.
