COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Next to a LOC DIPA a Train Hopper (also called train surfing, train hitching or, in parts of the United States, catching out) is a person riding on the outside of a train or another rail transport. It’s a very dangerous way of transportation so we at LOC do not recommend it, however we do recommend passengers to sit back in coach or first class and enjoy our DIPA.

August 2017 - At GBBF 2017, Kensington Olympia. As 'LOC Train Hopper'. Amber orange, transcluent, still with a foamy off-white head that leaves full lacing. Aroma is resinous, boiled sweets, syrupy sugars, caramel. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is caramel, sugary, quite sweet and robust, spicy finish is a little papery. Nice. Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 3. 10/08/2017. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, orange rind, apricot, little jammy citrus. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, citrus, orange rind, apricot, sticky resinous hop, little woody. Palate is semi sweet, highish frothy carbonation. Decent hides the alcohol.

BeerViking (5193) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2017
Tap at the GBBF, cloudy amber with a lasting thin head, big marmalade and mango nose, drying and bitter over a malty-sweet backbone, odd herbal bitterness in the aftertaste.

zenkis (875) - Ogre, LATVIA - JUL 20, 2017
bottle from Het Bierhuis, Breda,
Almost no hops in aroma, just a bit fruity-sweetish notes, mostly malts. Color was pale amber to amber, min lasing and almost no foam. Average+ carbonation. Taste was light sweet with medium bitter according to style. Flavor was very kinda juicy hoppy, but not like english-yeasty ipas fruity. So overall inviting flavor, but to name this IIPA would be too off-style. Average body, a bit juicy-full texture.

33cl Bottle shared at home. Appearance: With a clear amber, with a quite big fizzy off white head. Aroma: candiy orange, hop oul, caramel, resin, strawberries, zest, grapefruit, berries, and some odd Belgian fruity esters. Sweetish with a odd tart tone.Taste: Sweet, and light hop sour, with a strong harsh big resin and zesty bitterness mostly ctirus , some resin and apricot tones but also some harsh yeast tones.Above medium body, but a bit annoying carbonation. apricots,Over medium sweet and bitter and light sour. Over medium body, with soft carbonation. Some good idea’s but some components are just to rough implementated. A few refinements and this should be a great beer, but now it’s to rough.

330 ml. bottle @ home. BBF 23/03/2019. Hazy orange, uneven collapsing big bubble white head. Nose is very murky tropical fruit hops with low messy yeast, something stale, doesn’t entirely come together. Strongly bitter mango peel, heavily bitter, lots of tropical hop, grapefruit peel, bit murky,... Carbonation is very soft, makes it seem some body, very strongly bitter,... Murky brew. It has a lot of good elements going on but they don’t entirely come together, feels like it needs a minor tweak & it will get a lot better. Far better than what usually comes out of the Vandeoirsprong brewery. I like it but I think that it can be better.
